Web Server

Computer connected to the WorldWideWeb. Its purpose is to react to requests from client computers, to deliver the content of a WebSite to them.

The term can also refer to the program that processes HTTP requests. In that context, the word "host" is used to refer to the machine upon which the server process runs.
