Visual Basic Nine
Visual Basic NineVisualBasicNine is version 9.0 of VisualBasic and shipped in November 2007.
VisualBasicNine ships with version 3.5 of the DotNetFramework and with VisualStudio 2008.
VisualBasicNine supports all of the features of VisualBasicEight and adds support for LINQ, including lambda expressions, anonymous types, type inference, etc.
VisualBasicNine also supports XML literals and "dots over XML."
This is the second version of VisualBasic after VisualBasicDotNet (a.k.a. VisualBasicSeven?).
