Systems Analysis

Work often performed by a SystemAnalyst, the planning and conduct of systems development in the context of the IndustrialSociology and StrategicPlanning of an enterprise. Their job is generally to find out who, what, where, when, why, and how many.

SystemsDevelopment is often thought of as a synonym for SoftwareDevelopment, but this is not the case. Entirely manual systems and automated (non-IT) systems are also the product of SystemsDevelopment.
