Metro Werks

MetroWerks developed the CodeWarrior C/C++ compilers and IDEs. CodeWarrior provided the first truly viable tools for PowerPC Macintosh development, as well as the first modern competition to ThinkC, the venerable Mac C IDE. They also built a well-regarded toolset for the PalmOs, since abandoned (really ? the website seems to indicate they're still selling CodeWarrior for PalmOs - Yes, they have stopped development).

They also make compilers for Consoles. In fact, Nintendo's DS dev kit, was made by metrowerk, AFAIK.
