Knobs Are For Knobs

A derogatory phrase that implies software is bloated with too many knobs, buttons, and features that aren't so essential.

Theo of OpenBsd is known for stating the phrase "knobs are for knobs".

Sometimes knobs are needed, and even the ones who are against knobs admit that not all knobs are bad, but more knobs aren't always better.
