- Hi everyone. I had forgotten about this page until "mathspost@cwcom.net" reminded me about it. As with all things I'm not entirely certain what I should put here but since I'm very interested in the Wiki way, I feel obligated to contribute something.

- A few years back I started a project called "P4Wiki" -- a wiki which would use the Perforce system to manage the underlying content. My basic idea was that doing this would allow you to easily keep synchronized replicas of an entire wiki in different locations. Then I toyed with the idea of removing the "checked" out version of the files entirely and keeping all the content entirely in the Perforce database. Unfortunately that didn't work very well as Perforce does not provide an efficient way to do the sort of querying for keywords that a wiki needs. So I've gone back to the original idea of just using Perforce as a distribution system. I've implemented a basic prototype but have not done anything serious in some time. When I get back to this project I suspect that instead of creating an entirely new wiki, I'll just focus on a scheme to allow Perforce to be gracefully integrated into another wiki (like MoinMoin).
