Bashir Worf Hypothesis

The theory that most SciFi geeks prefer the tough, gruff, physical, honorable warrior stereotype character to the prissy, arrogant, know-it-all character, even though (or because) most geeks resemble the latter more than the former.

• Of course we all know who JadziaDax? preferred.... Bashir lusted after her for years but got nowhere; Worf shows up at StarTrekDeepSpaceNine and poof, they're married. Of course, soon after she discovers that the StarTrek writers treat Worf's women like they treat RedShirt-wearing ensigns...

• Geeks resemble WesleyCrusher? even more than Bashir (Bashir at least is somewhat sophisticated), and like him even less...
