Where Criticize Bluntly Doesnt Work

 Scene: a rifle range
 Me: (with gun) Bang!
 Teacher: (with scope) Missed!

Most everywhere it doesn't work. Good criticism is hard to do, especially for technical people who tend to focus more on machines and logic than on the subtleties of human interaction.
