VirtualBox is a GPL'd emulator (with commercial download available).

It can run "guest" operating systems such as OpenBSD, FreeBSD, Linux, Microsoft Windows etc.

It is similar to BochsEmulator? or VmWare, and is actually based on Bochs code.
