Unnecessary Holography

The act or state of needlessly repeating a process or object, such as proliferating a phrase such as 'all your base are belong to us' or repeating someone else's format for a web site. Of course, this would categorize Wiki as unnecessary holography... but we're all a bunch zany lunatics anyway, so who really gives a krunk?

Use sparingly for situations where repeating something is just completely unnecessary. Examples:

• message boards --just what the internet needs, yet another message board where the same old things are posted over and over again.
• Linux or Unix clones --I understand it if someone wants to rewrite the code base and insert some new ideas. It's like having your own special jellybean, but when only a handful of people will even use it for testing purposes why does it have to have some official standing as a version of that operating system?
• repeating the same WikiLink over and over throughout the same page.
