A boring, over-used font selected when web designers were not able to come up with a better solution.

No, what I really want to say is, what's wrong with using an established easy-to-read font instead of, in forced "creativity", coming up with something new? -- ClaesWallin

Well, Times is hardly a 'new' font.

An excellent font, however, for word processors and printed material.
