The Nordics

The nordics (the Nordic countries) is a reference to the countries of SwedenEurope, NorwayCountry, FinlandEurope, DenmarkEurope and IcelandCountry, which are members of the Nordic Council, http://www.norden.org/. Three of these countries are also members of the EuropeanUnion.

The term is also used by the UFO believers for a specific type of alien they claim visits Earth - described as looking like the stereotypical inhabitant of the Scandanavian countries; tall, blond, athletic, blue-eyed.
