Tektronix Inc

Tektronix Inc has been around for over 50 years, and is a major manufacturer of oscilloscopes. In addition, it produces test, measurement and monitoring equipment used in computer and communication related applications.

Their equipment can be found in the design centers, laboratories and communications networks of virtually every company or organization engaged in information technology.

I was using a Tektronix X-terminal in late 1990's - early 2000's on a field seismic crew in the Sahara and it performed very well. If the rest of the products are similar, I would say - recommended. -- anon

Part of the history of computing and of this Wiki is associated with beginnings at TektronixInc. It was at Tektronix that WardCunningham was introduced to Smalltalk.
