Tech Union

Perhaps it is time to bring unions into the so-called "white-collar" world. Offshoring, work visas, and general exploitation of tech workers does not appear to be going away. Companies will treat our BrainsAsaCheapCommodity unless we do something about it. Other professions have various ways to protect themselves. Lawyers have BAR example quotas, doctors have trade associations and quotas, etc. If they can have protection, why can't we?

Big companies have a lot of deep-pocket lobbying power that merit alone cannot counter. It takes political muscle to counter political muscle.
