What to do with RSS (RichSiteSummary, ReallySimpleSyndication, RdfSiteSummary)
Suggest this page to be merged into RssFeeds and RssViewer
To monitor RssFeeds, you have several options:
You add the URLs of feeds to your RSS reader, which polls those feeds periodically and displays their contents. The feeds (typically) contain information about recent articles posted to a site: title, summary, URL, size, etc. For example,
WardsWiki offers a feed of
RecentChanges, and Wired Online offers a feed of the day's articles. A blog might offer a feed of its ten most recent posts. An RSS reader displays summaries of the articles and lets you load the entire article if it sounds interesting.
