"Quadrant One" of FourQuadrants, the time management matrix described in SevenHabitsOfHighlyEffectivePeople = Important and Urgent activities.

Examples:

• Crises
• Pressing problems
• Deadline-driven projects, meetings, preparations (RealDeadlines)

This is compared mostly to QuadrantTwo activities, which are Important but not Urgent. You should definitely spend time on QuadrantOne activities, but don't forget QuadrantTwo.
