Predictor Corrector

A broad class of numerical methods for solution of certain partial differential equations.

PredictorCorrector methods proceed in two phases:

• use what you already know about the solution to predict a new, more extensive solution
• use what you know about the problem to examine your new solution and correct any evident errors in it
