Position Statement

A position statement usually states the position, the "side" of an argument, that the writer of the statement is taking. On a non-ThreadMode Wiki page, only the first author of a given page will write this.

Isn't this like OpEd?

It's related, but not the same. The Position Statement is exactly what it says, whereas the OpEd is an entire article.
