Pete Book is pragmatic, liberal, married, a father, and an environmentalist. He dislikes all forms of pollution and the over fishing of the worlds oceans. He generally thinks the French have a better perspective on world politics than the U.S. He would like to see the U.S. lead the world on environmental issues and engage China on meaningful level to foster better communications with the worlds next most powerful nation
