During my work with a large C++ framework, I have changed our development process to embrace parts of XP. The use of UnitTests is something that several of us now cannot think of doing without (I wouldn´t want to refactor without a TestSuite anymore)... We´re also doing CRC sessions and have been changing the way we document the code (one UML model for the design and JavaDocish API description generated from the code). I also find many of the XP principles and values very useful (one of our favorites are YouArentGonnaNeedIt). The project plan however follow a more traditional iterative model...
