Pan Doc

Pandoc (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/) is a tool for conversion between a number of markup (TextFilter) formats. It can read MarkDown, a subset of ReStructuredText and also HTML and LaTex. It can write a lot of different formats.

It is available in the current distribution of UbuntuLinux.
