Owl For Services

OwlForServices is OWL-S specification passed to W3C for ratification in Nov 2004. OWL is WebOntologyLanguage and the Services refer to WebServicesDescriptionLanguage, which is used to describe WebServices for machine consumption. See http://www.w3.org/Submission/2004/07/

It appeared the OWL-S submission came from http://www.daml.org DAML (DARPA Agent Markup Language) has interests in SemanticWeb development and more information is found at http://www.daml.org/2002/04/why.html.
