LeCorbusier's LeModulor is well worth a look.

Difficult to get hold of outside a library, tho'. I have a dog-eared Dover paperback of the second English language edition, it was a gift from a friend in the book trade.

A natural choice is any book showcasing the work of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí i Cornet,1852-1926, but particularily good is Living Gaudi: The Architect's Complete Vision ISBN 0847824357 .

His innovative organic architectural forms beg a natural comparison to this WardsWiki. While seeming to burst and bubble and flow in all directions, the solidly engineered underpinnings keep his masterworks from crumbling under their own weight.
