Neil Larson

Hypertext pioneer who in the late 1980's produced and distributed programs popularizing the use of hypertext in flat-text documents. Links were identified by the file name enclosed like this: <Link01>. He also produced a configurable hypertext editor called Transtext. Another product useful in organizing ideas was called Houdini. His company which has developed in Northern California is called Maxthink. His specialty of information processing using hyperlinks concentrates on Semantics, Taxonomy, and KnowledgeAnnealing.
