15 year old girl (born 28/02/87 if I don't update) from Umea (see below) in SwedenEurope... (http://www.umea.se) If the date's right, you're nearly 18 years old now.

Really fond of this WikiWikiWeb, since it shows that anarchy works :-P (I want total freedom - as long as people still behave.)

Quite a useless page I suppose, but if I want to add anything to the Wiki, it's here I'll do it :-)

GameMyrmidia - Highly interesting 3D MORPG in development :)

Familiar with the languages:

And in the Web development side: Welcome, and congratulations on making this page simple but informative.

That's the way stuff should be; otherwise you're bored when you've read half.

Moved from GameMyrmidia:

Welcome to the home of Myrmidia. A place where your wildest dreams and fantasies may be fulfilled. A land where noble elves tend gentle woods, stout dwarves meld metal to meet their desires, men slay foul beasts, wizards craft mighty spells and darkness is abound...

Not to be snippish, but sigh...this sounds just like almost every other fantasy world out there.

I'm becoming more and more enthused with the ideals behind Dogma2001 (http://www.stun-software.com/wiki/wiki.pl?DogmaTwoThousandAndOne), and wish that more game developers would at least think about them.

Mikael, a WikiGnome moved the content of GameMyrmidia here because (a) there were no links to or from it except this page, and (b) it was rather OffTopic for this wiki.

Ume Municipality

Ume [˘ʉməoː] is a city and a municipality in Vsterbotten County, in northern Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 2,316.5 km. Out of a total population of 107,845, 53,503 are male, and 54,342 are female. The population density of the community is 46 inhabitants per km.

Ume is located some 600 km north of Stockholm at 6350'N 2015'E. It is situated on an inlet of the Gulf of Bothnia at the mouth of the Ume lv. It is the largest Swedish city north of Uppsala, and is sometimes referred to as the regional centre of Norrland. The nearby town of Holmsund serves as its port.

Ume University with its 25,000 students is located there, as is a large hospital serving the region.

Since the establishment of the university in the mid 1960s Ume has grown from about 50,000 inhabitants to today's 100,000. The expansion continues and it has made Ume a modern, somewhat intellectual town in contrast to the more industrialized ones surrounding it. It does have some notable industries, principally the production of timber, wood-pulp, machines and furniture.

On the 25 June of 1888 a fire devastated the eastern parts of Ume and 2300 of the 3000 inhabitants became homeless. In the restorations after the fire, birches where planted along wide avenues to prevent future fires from spreading. Because of this Ume is sometimes called the 'City of Birches'.

There are very very few student rooms available in Ume City. Also Ume University shows very little interest in arranging housing for International Students. (Not Exchange Students). So you have to find your housing...though University claims that we arrange Housing for International Students too. As Ume University has 25,000 and more student...its tough for new comer to find housing in Ume City... There is company called Bostaden in Ume City which arranges accommodation for students also.... Beware...Its illusive...Bosatden website shows many student housing apartments, but to get one it might take one year.... Please try to arrange some accommodation before coming to Ume otherwise you will be frustrated and it will be hard to pay attention towards your studies. I am sure, you will come to Ume mainly for studies and now to look for housing all the time. Best luck!
