Mc Caughans Razor

I have a variant on HanlonsRazor:

: "Never attribute to benevolence that which is adequately explained by stupidity".

I find this almost as useful as the original when contemplating the actions of telecommunications companies, governments, and the like. -- GarethMcCaughan
