Creator of BcplLanguage (ancestral to CeeLanguage, and used in Tripos half of AmigaOS), and more recently McplLanguage.

Currently lectures ComputerScience at CambridgeUniversity. Even now in the space year 2004, insists on shoehorning material on BcplLanguage into the undergraduate computer science course.
