Martijn Meijering

I work at the computer science department of the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. We have a one year IT course for nontechnical people for which I organise the practical courses. In a couple of weeks we are going to start an extreme programming project. Last year I taught a short software engineering course. I used to be studying mathematics and computer science here, but right now I'm much too busy working. The final exams will have to wait.

More recently Rogier van Sterkenburg and I have started our own XP start-up. We try do do both XP training and development. In 2000 we taught the SE module for the one year IT course and a small, six week XP student project. We are still working on one project for an external client (about we aren't allowed to say very much) and one internal project, a Dutch language travel portal (http://www.reizenmarkt.nl).
