Mark Volkmann used to be a UNIX/++ programmer at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri. He now works for Object Computing, Inc (OCI) in St. Louis where he provides consulting and training in Java/XML/Web Services.

He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
