Links Pages Considered Harmful

Links Pages, pages that consist of nothing but links about another topic discussed on some other WikiPage should, in general, be avoided. It seems to me that hyperlinks are meant to provide meaningful context-based free-form navigation of a text web, and pulling the links out into a context-less page reduced their use. In addition, it simply adds to the clutter of pages on the Wiki.

In general, the links page content should be integrated into the main content on other pages.

But,

A RoadMap -- a categorized list of pages about a specific topic, along with a brief description of each page -- can give a reader an useful quick overview of a topic.
