Last In First Out

Stacks operate on the LastInFirstOut principle.

In Accounting, LIFO is one common way of "tracking" inventory. Contrast with FirstInFirstOut (FIFO), and with tracking specific items.

In OneUpOnWallStreet?, Peter Lynch pointed out that LIFO often degenerates into FISH: First In, Still Here.
