No pics made available... La Gomera is one of the Canary Islands, tropical groups of islands west of Africa which belong to Spain.

Traditionally, Canary Islands (like Madeira or Azores) have been very important for wind sailing, as harbors in the middle of the nothing (or last harbors before the nothing arrived, particularly closer to the ecuator, where winds mostly die off and ships had tough times moving...).
