Kevin Lacobie

Kevin Lacobie cofounded Agoric Enterprises, Inc. in Fairfax, Virginia, in 1991, and Agorics Inc., Los Altos California, in 1994. The former company concentrated on economic consulting in the software industry; one report, Software Components, was published by the Patricia Seybold Group. One research product, TheAgora, is a economics simulation environment, for studying such phenomena as the emergence of money from a barter economy. The Agora is written in Smalltalk.

Agorics Inc. is currently developing market-based distributed computing systems.

Kevin is currently running Agoric Source, LLC, ( www.agoric.com ) in Houston.
