Is There Some Problem With Ip Addresses In Recent Changes

RecentChanges seems to be attributing incorrect IP addresses.

I've noticed several times in the last few days that edits I made to a page would show up in RecentChanges under another IP address. But it happened rarely enough that I was able to convince myself that it might not really be happening, I might be imagining it.

But today I deleted a page, then RecentChanges associated that change with another IP. Sure enough, I was able to go back in, from the same computer, same IP address, and second the deletion.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

Was it a different IP, or your IP with just with the numbers reversed? If so... yes, I have.

Yes, this happened to me a few days ago. I don't think you're imagining it. It hasn't happened to me since, though.
