Note: this page has been edited with UniCode UtfEight (UTF-8) encoding set (see note near end of page). It won't display as intended if viewed with a setting such as "Western European (Windows)" or "Western (ISO-8859-1)" (the default on some browsers). However, modern browsers should respect the UTF-8 character encoding now sent in the header of pages sent as of May 2006.

Okay, so that's going to be a lot more than one minute. So sue us.

How about Maori? (Will get done if/when someone speaking the language uses the site and makes the effort to contribute.)

Be careful, some browsers (I suspect ones with DBCS support) kill some letters from other alphabets.

They are already dead. I've fixed the ones I can. -- Anonymous Carpenter

Same thing again. If you edit in a wide alphabet, please take care to restore accented characters in other alphabets. (This page should be written in Unicode in order for this to work transparently.)

Please repair the broken ones if you can.

Irretrievably corrupted entries for Russian, Hebrew, Korean and three unknown languages removed. Icelandic still looks suspect.
