Hire Only Beginners

An AntiPattern.

Technical risks are not identified early and the code does not smell, but stinks.

It's important to note here the word "only". Hiring beginners is not, of itself, a bad thing. It's important to pair them with an experienced hand, but that's also fraught with danger. The more experienced programmer has to respect the raw skills of the new hire, but the new hire has to understand that there are things they don't know and can learn from the OldTimer. It's a difficult balance, but hiring only those rich in experience carries its own risks.
