Thirty-third president of the U.S., 1945-1953. Known as Harry S. Truman but the "S" didn't stand for anything. Author of the book Mr. Citizen (ISBN 0830900950 ).

Known for saying, "The buck stops here." (See BuckStopsHere pattern.) Also known for saying, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."
