Glass Barrier

GlassBarrier is one of those frustrating patterns.

You can see it, you are almost there, but you cannot go from here to there without getting hurt badly.

A GlassBarrier is sometimes erected in front of "prototypes". Promoters (software included) put up some smoke and mirrors and the manager with the clout and pursestrings got interested. Subsequently an army of lesser individuals got trapped.

The solution is almost there, and yet so far away.
