Flip Flops

No, not the cheap beach sandals, but a circuit that holds a state that can be toggled by an input. String 8 of them together and you have an 8 bit register.

Is it no longer true that FlipFlops have both a set and a clear input? An input to simply toggle the state would take additional circuits. (And what was the old TLA: MS? for multi-stable something?)
