Scout Teams are a unit of organization in FlatClusterDevelopment that works as an associate to one or many FlatClusterProjectTeams
- To join the Scout Team, a petition is made, and all existing members of the Scout Team must make a unanimous vote for election.
- A person may leave the team at any time they choose. Re-entry into the team after leaving requires petition and voting.
- If the Scout Team becomes too large, it may elect to split into two Scout Teams.
- Responsible for maintaining a database of new project ideas / opportunities.
- Ideas may be proposed by anyone within the entire company, and all ideas must be entered into the database.
- This team is also responsible for searching out and finding ideas on their own.
- Research market feasibility of ideas as needed.
- Each member of the Scout Team is eligible to serve as a Project Advocate, and has specific job duties pertaining to that position (outlined below).
- Anyone on the Scout Team not currently serving a term as a Project Advocate may be called upon by any active Project Advocate to assist with his or her responsibilities.
