People who have access to the Internet often are members of the FirstWorld?, or the North.

Typically the group have access to mass media, and often live in a society who value people by their ability to accumulate material wealth.

This is usually a safe assumption to make amongst the members of the wiki, however much care needs to be taken when discussing people out in the big wide world outside.
