Fairway Project

Fairway is a new stock transfer processing and record keeping system under development by DstSystems. Developed primarily in VisualAge Smalltalk, IBM wrote some about the project in one of their data management customer spotlights: http://www.software.ibm.com/data/solutions/customer/dst/dst.htm

Fairway has been a big success for DST and made national financial news last year when First Bank of Chicago and Boston Equiserve decided to merge their stock transfer businesses. Part of their decision, as reported in the financial press, hinged on the technology being developed in Fairway. -- DavidMitchell
