Ejb Two Specs

Can it really be one full year since the first public draft of EJB2.0?!? Here it is June 2001 and the spec is still not finalized. I suppose Sun will release it with great fanfare during JavaOne. Is it just me, or is this EJB revision taking entirely tooooo long??
