Converting Source Code In Cfrom Dos To Windows

I have the source code for an old (and excellent!) program written in C for MsDos and I'm currently trying to compile it in Windows with a compiler for Windows called DevC++. Unfortunately, the compiler does not even recognize the source-code. Where could be the problem and how could it be solved? Thanks! -- Nicolas
