Catastrophic Success

GeorgeBush's recent description of his quagmire in Iraq describes a few other OxyMoronic horrors.

It's not necessarily oxymoronic. There are many examples of success that has happened so fast and to such a magnitude that the "successful" party has been unable to adapt and has subsequently been destroyed.
